We anchored in a gap in a long line of boats tied to shore. John of "Maryanne II" took the end of our long rope to shore in his dinghy. He was helpful but we were drifting toward other boats and would have liked him to move more quickly. Right near us was this old church and the canoe club. These are modern lightweight versions of Polynesian outrigger canoes, and the locals were often practicing and racing in them.
